Kaze ni Fukaretemo Impression

Hello and welcome to another post where i talk about a recent single that's been released, and this time it is the long awaited and very anticipated Keyakizaka46 5th single Kaze ni Fukaretemo. when the leaks for this song came out everyone is going crazy on how the girls look in this single with all the suits and ties. so without further ado lets get into it.

Kaze ni Fukaretemo (Kanji Keyakizaka46)
the main song of this single and its certainly not a bad song at all. its very groovy and would get your head bopping to the beat. it has a much more uplifting mood to it, instead of the depressing mood from their previous releases, which is nice to see. but, i can't say that this is one of their best single, in fact i'm going to say that this is their weakest so far. as i always say, what makes the difference between something good and something great is in the smallest detail, and this song just had that one little thing that made it not good enough for me. its the transition between the verse and the pre-chorus, it just doesn't sound right to me, its like two different part being stuck together by duct tape instead of one perfect weld. i won't say that i'm disappointed but its just not as good as i was hoping for, just that one tiny part that makes all the difference between a good song and a great song. with the MV, its the usual Keyakizaka style, focusing on the dance scene and making the girls look good and in this case also very classy. the suits they're wearing is nice, also it suited their choreography very well.

Soredemo Aruiteru (1st Gen Hiragana Keyakizaka46)
main coupling song for this single is by Keyakizaka46's sister group, the Hiragana Keyakizaka46. and yes, i really do think that the Hiragana is now a sister group for Keyakizaka instead of a part of Keyakizaka itself. and this song is actually very very good. its a great campfire song. i would definitely sing this song the next time i go camping. i love how simple it is, i love the solo acoustic guitar arrangement they used in the beginning, before finally the full band kicks in in the second verse. the solo vocal lines for each member is also a nice touch. the MV is..... well i actually doesn't really understand the concept of it, but i really like the set they were using, i like how all of the different fabric is arranged, it looks nice, and again it made the members look good.

Kekkyoku, Jaa ne Shika Ienai (Goninbayashi)
second song for the unit Goninbayashi after that one amazing song they have in the album. and this song is equally good. for those of you who don't know (but i presume most of you do) Goninbayashi is a unit that consist of Oda Nana, Sato Shiori, Habu Mizuho, Saito Fuyuka, and Ishimori Nijika. this song feels somewhat nostalgic to me, especially the chorus part which reminds me of one of One Piece opening theme, i believe it was the second one. and the chorus of this song has a similar flow to that of the One Piece OP chorus, if you know what i mean. it has a little hint of Seifuku to Taiyou in it, no MV sadly, but overall very good.

NO WAR In the Future (Hiragana Keyakizaka46)
when i read the title of the song i was hoping for another hard rock song similar to Otona wa Shinjitekurenai, or maybe a percussion heavy song. but NO, instead we got this electronic and acoustic guitar hybrid with some piano here and there. and honestly i didn't really like it, its a bit too messy for my taste, but it is still a pretty good song. this is also the first song where the 2nd gen Hiragana participated. and again no MV.

Hiraishin (Kanji Keyakizaka46)
they always seems to find a way to slip something depressing into every single, aren't they. this song is really good, first of all i love the bass line in this, it just sounded really cool when someone start slapping away at the bass. then there's all the piano and string instrument, which i guess is now a staple in every Keyaki song, i guess it is part of their sound. and the rapping part, which i think it is one of the best rapping i've ever heard from an idol group. the MV is pretty good, i like how they're using the smoke and the fog (of war) to make everything look gloomy, and again all the members look good, especially Shida, who really stand out in this MV.

Namiuchigiwa wo Hashiranai ka? (Aozora to MARRY)
well, they got another song. this song is actually pretty similar in style to the one from the album. it sounds nice and pretty catchy, nothing really special. but, i will say this again, they can't sing. the vocal of all of the MARRY members are very weak, and they can't really harmonize their voice with each other. the MV is well...... its very photogenic, it really feels like someone's instagram post. the filter that they use really give that autumn feel to it, the things that they do with the leaves is also pretty good, and it has the 5 most beautiful member in Keyakizaka, so its pretty much perfect.

Saisei Suru Saibo (Imaizumi Yui)
Zuumin's second solo song, and it is amazing. her voice is just beautiful, coupled that with an equally beautiful musical arrangement, and you get an incredible ballad song. i really can't say anything else about this song, its just perfect. but i do have one question though, why is Imaizumi always perform bear footed?

and that's it, Keyakizaka46's 5th single, overall i think the songs are really good, but again, i really do think that this is their weakest release so far. if i have to rank the song it would be
1. Saisei Suru Saibo (Imaizumi Yui)
2. Soredemo Aruiteru (1st Gen Hiragana Keyakizaka46)
3. Kekkyoku, Jaa ne Shika Ienai (Goninbayashi)
4. Hiraishin (Kanji Keyakizaka46)
5. Kaze ni Fukaretemo (Kanji Keyakizaka46)
6. Namiuchigiwa wo Hashiranai ka? (Aozora to MARRY)
7. NO WAR In the Future (Hiragana Keyakizaka46)

and i am hoping for a massive change to happen for the 6th single, but until then

This is Delta
